i love doom but he is kind of a dick live. i saw him at the el rey a couple years ago and he did like 4 songs, then got mad and left. he was sick as hell for those 4 songs, but come on.

Yep, the only time I had an opportunity to see him he sent some tubby impersonator to lip sync his way through a setlist. Love his music, but I'll never waste time or money watching him "perform" again. There are tons of hack performers like Brittany Spears and Ashley Simpson who at least have the decency to show up in person and lip-sync their music. Never again.

I cannot wait for this new album. I'm not sure if I've ever been more excited about an album being released.

The new tracks are great.

But the funny thing is that just about all the other new Stones Throw tracks on that podcast (James Pants/Dam-Funk/Jonti Dan etc.) are all better than the new Madvillain tracks. Just goes to show how much Stones Throw are going to slay in 2011.

Oh and be on the look out for Jonti Dan in 2011, that's my boy!

They did a few shows when the album dropped.

They were also booked to play a festival in LA in November 2009. I flew over from Australia hoping to see them and they fucking canceled the festival due to poor ticket sales just 2 weeks before the festival took place. I was mighty pissed off.
