I can't imagine MF Doom being able stop and start at a specific time.

why dont you give me a second to respond to him before you go starting up some other argument sorry im not on the thread all day and cant respond every other waking minute. you have no reasonable argument for what makes a doom fan excpet for "your dumb" so before you classify someone ina category make sure you know how to argue a little bit better than a kindergartner fuckhead. no one asked who didnt want doom to come to coachella so why dont you waste your time somewhere else. ALL THE FANS WHO FEEL THE SAME WAY LETS HOPE FOR THE BEST! DOOMSDAY!
I have, and I agree, that's shitty of him to do. However, that doesn't make him fake, per se. The live albums that he has released demonstrate he is more than capable of putting on a great live show. Don't get me wrong, if he was scheduled to play coachella and didn't show or sent a DOOMpostor I'd be pissed, but DOOM doesn't give a fuck if I'm pissed. If he did, it'd go against his whole shtick, a shtick that I enjoy.

Just stumbled across this. Thought it was kinda interesting:

I know it may seem like I hate DOOM but I don't. He's a talented lyricist but sometimes his music isn't enjoyable considering the obscure subject matter. And his live shows are a joke in itself.
I say that to say this, is that blog above me serious? LOL
His unique lyrics is what makes him who he is. No one in the rap game can delivers lyrics like how he does, and I think its awesome how he his different than the status quo with his subject matter. Most of his raps have a comic book quality to them which is what makes him so great. I'm with you comeback kid. Never seen this guy live and I'd very happy if he was on the lineup. With that said, I think the chances are VERY low that he'll be in the lineup, as he hasn't done anything new in quite some time and his stock has fallen considerably since his no shows a few years back.
6/21/13-6/23/13 - Solid Sound Music Festival - MASS MOCA

Yeah, I didn't even read the blog before I posted that. It's actually kind of a good read. I got several chuckles.

No thanks. I never saw the draw of IM. The only acts I'd rather see over MF within the hip hop genre would be Beastie Boys, Wu Tang, and Tribe Called Quest
bump.

thats true talent man. thats why when you get an ear for his music, its very pleasing rhymes, because theres an actual poem structure behind it. thanks for postin that man i showed all my friends this and they thought it was just as cool and now im starting to see this pattern in a lot of songs
i feel the same way man, hes definitely underrated by many hip hop listeners but highly respected by producing critics. you mos def have to gain an ear for him cuz theres not a lot of people with that style, if any. i know he has a past of all that fake bullshit, but when you keep it that real and dont give a fuck to play a show, its like put yourself in his shoes, what if he doesnt like performing live. i feel like if he did get added to the lineup he wouldnt bail on something like coachella.
I'll be bumping this thread every time it moves to the second page.
