Can anyone shed light on what exactly this "Lightning Bus" is?
Charter buses mayne.
Probably some in LA, SF, northwest, colorado, etc. Cheap bus ticket right to the festival I'd guess.
Then I will hold you down and spit her percolations all over you until you're as greasy as the day she regrets pushing your big fat ass out her big fat cunt.
Oh. I thought this thing was more or less in LA.
SXSW - 3/7 - 3/16
The National/Warpaint - 4/21 - Moody Theater
Mogwai - 4/24 - Emo's
Tycho - 5/1 - The Parish
Austin Psych Fest - 5/2 - 5/4 - Carson Creek Ranch
I live in Tustin. Trust me it is NOWHERE near LA.
I knew it was Apparat without opening that video. On a strange sidenote, last night I dreamed that I found Apparat walking down the street and we started talking about music. In the conversation I convinced him to spin for Lilia's birthday. We then started walking to her party. Weird.
Does anyone remember the naked guy walking like a zombie and parking himself front and center during this? It was cold as shit that night!
I hope to make it down for friday & saturday of LiB this year, but would have to leave sunday for a friend's wedding. also, this coincides with a big deadline at work, so I have to wait until closer to the time to decide.
if you can't swing it, I'm sure you'll be all about something 4 months later.
"Stay tuned next Wednesday for our announcement about the volunteer, and art submissions process.'
I want to volunteer

Nothing will beat out Apparat last year for me. That shit was fucking magical.
Was the Wakarusa lineup announced today? They have a lot of solid talent. I'm hoping to for some Modeselektor and Take also, as well as Big Gigantic.
Anyone have a guess as to when the lineup will be released?
Apparat is a cool guy. His show at the Knitting Factory back in 2008 is still one of my favorites.
He is also a bad ass since he changed his show date at the Knitting Factory when he was made aware of the fact M83 was playing the same night as he was. He wanted to check them out, too.
For your health
After the major fuck up from Coachella this year, this will now be mine and my gfs destination for music in the sun, good vibes, camping with friends, and more music in the dusk. I don't know much about it, but the website makes it look pretty sweet, last years lineup looked sick. Does anyone know how long this has been going on? And...do they usually do repeats at all? Because I noticed Nosaj Thing played last year but seeing as he's on the Coachella ticket, do you think there's a posibility he'd play again this year? Gotta see this guy do his thing because he's fucking incredible.
Last year was a tremendous amount of fun. There were also plenty of duplicates. Seeing Nosaj again on the lineup would not be surprising at all.
edit: nvm... lil's got it.
Thanks guys and gals for the info! This thread already seems so much more inviting than the Coachella lineup thread debacles filled with mean spirits. Makes me excited for the type of vibes we should be expecting from the festival! See you all in May! Irvine is so close to me, too!
