Firmly grasping the frog in one hand, quickly push a sharp metal probe through the skin from the back of the neck up into the brain. move the pointer tip around in the brain to destroy it. This is then a single pithed frog, one in which all higher brain function has been destroyed. Then, you can take the pointer and insert it into the spinal column and push it down until the legs extend and then relax. This is then a double pithed frog, one in which both higher brain function and reflex function is destroyed. The pointer should be long enough to reach the end of the spinal column, and should be easy to insert. If it is not easy, then the probe is probably outside the column.
van halen at the staples center in 2005 (i think it was 05) was a very disappointing show for me.
eddie didn't play any of his famous solos, haggar sounded like shit.
even with david lee roth back i'm not that interested. this would be total waste of a headliner space to me, and i like recorded van halen a lot
i saw umphreys mcgee cover running with the devil at the HOB in LA a couple years ago and it fucking slayed. put the real van halen to shame
^ umphreys does some wicked covers.
the music is what its all about, you love it just like i love it.
UM are fucking phenomenal musicians and they always have been. They just went the jamband route. Also, their vocals are fucking embarassing. They should just be an instrumental band. Bassnectar is lucky enough to have crossover appeal. Hardly anyone else does. Playing just jamband festivals is a huge negative stigma to hipsters/current young music fans.
If people want insane guitar solos why isn't there some Buckethead love for an early afternoon set in a tent? If you want to watch the greatest living guitar slayer, he lives in San Fran.....
