I think this is the oldest thread to appear on the first page of any sub-forums on coachella.com.
I thought that thickets one (2010) was older but this is from 2007!

Yeah, I agree with Coachella Bound. They didn't become a big-name act after this whole "EDM" explosion/resurgence in the mainstream, they were a big-name before that. So I don't really see why it would be a reason for "EDM" fans to celebrate, other than to celebrate the fact that Daft Punk is back. And yes, when they do play next year, the size of the crowd at the main stage is going to be insane.
