Obviously. For one it's kinda hard to beat Tennessee that time of year for weather. Spain is probably a lot like Mexico since they speak Mexican there too. Hopefully the Mexicans in Spain aren't as dumb as the ones under our boarder here. I'm only going to see Aerial's Pink Graffiti or whatever it's called. I already know it's going to be the best thing there....since all that's there is Mexicans.

I think the pricing is very fair considering it's 4 days and the ticket price includes camping, service fees, etc with Livenation's all in pricing.

When I saw them on the Nothing Left To Lose tour with Queens Of The Stone Age opening, Grohl got on the kit. He had a duel with Taylor for about 10 minutes, lots of fun. But I havent seen him drum again during a FF's show since then.

Pulp will be opening for Foo Fighters at Isle of Wight on June 11th. Does that make them more likely to hop on the magical flight from Primavera to Sasquatch to play with Foo Fighters before going to England of Isle of Wight? Or would making two cross-Atlantic trips in a week and a half make them 0% likely to be there?

I don't know, OSL had a lack of douchebags when I went this year. The vibe was amazing.

Sasquatch doesn't really do cult reunions, so I really doubt it. And there still aren't any plans to even come to america yet, apparently.

Pavement played both this year, they had a horrible show at Sasquatch though from everyones reviews on here. Thats not a good flight to take. I wouldnt take Primavera advertising this as their first show too lightly. Sasquatch tried to make the claim with Pavement, and they ended up at Coachella.

I just hope they stay together and this isn't just another brief reunion to get a few big paychecks and then split again. Hope they enjoy the shows and they keep at it and record a new album and continue touring. That is also our best bet for them to actually play here.

What's interesting is that playing Sasq first, then flying to Spain mean they are flying AGAINST the time zone and not WITH the time change.

Makes me wonder if adding the Friday was the only way FF would play Sasquatch in 2011.

FF play Sain Sunday at the earliest, since Saturday would be way to hard logistically.

They were a sloppy mess but the drinking (imo) had more to do with it than the flight. They did apologise for it though at their Portland show in Sept.

Pavement wasn't horrible... they were Pavement. Their songs aren't ever going to be pristine live (I'm not sure that would even be -good- if they were). The Sasquatch show was exactly what I wanted from them... it just didn't make me feel like I need to rush out and see them again if they ever tour again.

We've been over this before. Everyone conveniently forgets Malkmus (over the PA) saying with some incredulity, "we've never been allowed go over time before" while looking stage left at someone.

MA weren't exactly waiting off in the wings to come on stage either.

Let me be clear. It sucks that it's four days because I have to get another day off work if there's anybody worth seeing besides FF on Friday, and it sucks that Foo Fighters are headlining Friday because Foo Fighters are dad rock.
