We're definitely not going this year, but I hope the promoters don't screw this fun festival.
I liked the format of last year and feel we would be better served by improvements to the FOOD and the Bigfoot stage's glaring SOUND PROBLEMS.

I think there's one price jump. Early bird-> regular ticket price.
I purchased the early bird when I learned Massive Attack was headlining.
/cool story, bro.

does Groehl ever get on the drum kit when FF performs live? he was filthy nasty during the Them Crooked Vultures set last year.

Daft Punk. Oh my god. Yes. They are headlining.

DEMF is looking might, mighty fine.
Yeah, this is as expensive as Coachella after fees now, probably. Can't imagine what the lineup jump will look like. One of the things I loved about Sasquatch was that it had a relatively unique lineup for U.S. festival, but I hope that the extra day/budget doesn't mean they're just going to have the same headliners/upper lines as very other major U.S. festival.
The huge jump in price is because it includes camping as well.
It looks like if you want this presale at least you are forced to buy camping. That sucks for wild horse campers. Maybe they will add festival ticket only pricing later?
You have every right to demand it after all of my demands for your first Glastonbury report. I don't know that my report will be as polished or in depth though lol.![]()
DEMF sounds pretty great, but I need more than one genre when it comes to festivals.

Damn, I was wondering how you guys all got to Wild Horse so quickly. We got stuck in the line, and there was a cop right there so I didn't think I should drive the last couple of miles in oncoming traffic. Fortunately still remembered the other route from when Mark and I went in 08.
Mark, I didn't know that you were going to Primavera. That's my top choice this year but I'm having trouble committing to anything. Barcelona is beautiful.
Who's afraid of Detroit?!?! Cara knows what I'm talking 'bout.

I pulled the tirgger on the ticket before prices jumped a few bucks. The National, Mogwai and Spain were enough for me since I have never been. I should probably listen to some Pulp before then lol.
Obviously let me know if you decide to do Primavera. This is looking like the year to skip the ole Squatch for something new....i'm still considering the Roo too but it might be too close and I probably won't have time off to use so it's more unlikely which means Lolla is a possibility again this year.
fuck that new price which includes camping. Sasquatch this year was amazing, but with getting early Bonnaroo tix + booking my flights and then getting Coachella tix later on, i doubt i'll go to Sasquatch this year.

Decibel is, in fact, the shit.
DEMF sounds like it's cooler older brother who parties a little harder, though. I like. Conversely it doesn't offer the ambient stuff the dB does but has more Detroit Techno legends and a few mainstream acts. There's advantages to each...
**I'm also under the impression that due it its late night offerings DEMF's location is mostly inconsequential outside of its historical significance to the scene.

^^ I don't know if it's still true of DEMF, but I had friends who went several years through the 00's and they said they never actually saw Detroit other than from the windows of cabs heading home from after parties.
That's what my sources who attended last year have led me to believe.
I'm a fan.
I've been to Detroit. I had some awesome sould food before attending the I.C.P. Hallowicked Concert on Halloween in 1998. Then I watched a bunch of ignorant Juggalos throw pennies in the street while these poor homeless folks were chasing them like chickens eating bread crumbs scattered about. This went on for no less than an 30 minutes when finally the homeless were tired and starting to get insulted by the comments being made by the juggalos, like being called a crackhead and what not.
Gotta love Juggalos sometimes.![]()
Cool story juggabro!
When I saw them on the Nothing Left To Lose tour with Queens Of The Stone Age opening, Grohl got on the kit. He had a duel with Taylor for about 10 minutes, lots of fun. But I havent seen him drum again during a FF's show since then.
Youre just going to say Bonnaroo is better and The National was the best act the entire weekend.
Jen, ummm Pitchfork? 3 days? Its less than $100?
