Aoki had a war with Frankie Chan. Aoki won, cause he grabbed Ed Banger and everyone else to do his thing. And thats that. Also, they werent getting as many people to come as they wanted, quite a few things, but obvi it still went away. Hopefully they can get some notable acts back there, it was fun seeing Boyznoize at Echoplex.

I think the first CYP I went to was the SMD / Boys Noize show in '07. I was looking through the flyer gallery for the CYP2 site; I had no idea they had Crystal Castles earlier that year in the Spring.

Seefeel/Dntel is sold out. I'm totally bummed I didn't get tix in time. Last time I went to this it was totally dead, though it was just Stereo Total & Giant Drag so not nearly as awesome of a lineup.

On a side note, the chick from Giant Drag was WASTED! She couldn't even look at the setlist because she was getting the spins. It was entertaining, but not in the way I want and expect at a show. Does anyone know if that's typical for her? They've been around a while. I mean, she is like 70lbs, so it probably doesn't take much.... but still.
