Yeah, well, be careful how you title such a group, guys. I think "Straight Guys for Kylie" will probably attract a good number of... supporters.
Man, that was such a fun night. My friend and I were just chatting about it and wishing she'd played more than one night. NYers were so lucky with three damn shows!
does anyone have a DL link to the aphrodite tour studio tracks?
Oh, man! Check out :45 to 1:12. The Bowl looked amazing.
God I love her.

(from Kylie.com)SEE KYLIE IN 3D IN CINEMAS ACROSS THE UK ON SUNDAY 19TH JUNE!
Aphrodite-Les Folies filmed live at London’s O2 Arena, is coming to a cinema near you soon! Dates for 3D screenings throughout the world to be announced in the coming days.
Oh, man, LA better be on on that "screenings throughout the world" list. If we can get simulcasts from the Met Oprea and the National Theatre at the downtown Independent, we can get Kylie in 3D.
I guess the concert was aired on UK tv earlier this summer. Man that water show looked amazing. What a one-two punch to end the show...
Bump for 2012. This would be so fun on the polo fields.

won't happen...
The next tour she's talking about doing is the "anti-tour" which will be nothing but small venues where she's doing only b-sides and album tracks with no singles... Not 100% sure if it's going to happen at all in the states, and if it does.. it'll probably only be like New York and LA...
Damn. I really wish the states embraced her more. Oh well.

I was just having a discussion with a friend about this as we were discussing an interview with her... Beyond having an amazing voice (both live and in studio), working with great producers (we'll forgiver her the whole Ingrosso thing for sake of this argument) and a survivor... she's just generally so well natured... the type of pop star you could actually feel good about having younger people look up to... And instead of having her fully embraced in the states... we get crap like Katy Perry dominating the charts...
I'm sadly starting to think that she'll never be at Coachella. Last year was our best bet, and she wasn't booked.
And OMG at that fountain performance. Could. She. Be. More. Gay?
And I say this in a completely positive way.![]()
I'm looking forward to the Blu-Ray coming out Tuesday so I can hopefully get a really good feel for the difference in production between the US sets and the rest of the world
i had no idea that they were making a blu-ray of this. i'm definitely getting it. thanks.

Really? This sounds like a terrible idea. I love this little Aussie but the idea of her doing some sort of "intimate/acoustic/for the fans/low-key" tour is so unappealing. I'll take my Kylie concerts spectacular and way over-the-top, please. She doesn't really have the right kind of presence or gravitas for those types of gigs. Part of her charm is that she knows her limitations and does wonders working within them. Also, you'd think she's not getting any younger. You'd think she'd want to keep playing arena tours for as long as she could.
i just watched the blu-ray and holy shit did the US get screwed. The production for their show was 10x that of ours. also, i watched the behind the scenes leading up to the tour and it's pretty amazing to see how they did all of that. i can't imagine transporting that set city to city.

I'm waiting till this weekend to watch it as I have friends coming over to watch it with me! excited!
is she planning on bringing this to the US?

There've been no real announcements on dates outside of last night in Melbourne and tomorrow in Sydney. Honestly, I think it's a long shot that it will hit here.
Yeah.... I love her, but I'm not feeling this "anti tour" concept. This seems more suited to her core fanbase in the UK and AUS.
New song and video. Hmmm. I dunno, Kylie. Can't tell if I like this or if I feel like one of my mum's friends just got a record deal.
