Yes to both you and keriann. It is on the West side, North of Kaanapali and just South of Kapalua. It is from the condo we rented. The island straight ahead is Molokai and the one (if you can see it) is Lihue. I love Hawaii; used to be in the Navy (hated it) on Oahu a while back and have visited Hawaii about every 5 years.

One of our friend's brother lives there. He took us to some pretty awesome locations and got us local discounts on certain things. He also took me to a lot of killer surf spots. I will post cool pics in the random pictures thread sometime.
