I like Ole Miss and after two straight years of the Not Important Tournament, I hope we make the real tournament this year. Schedule is favorable with the Kentucky game being a home game, although playing against Kentucky is rarely ever really favorable.

I have already requested off work for this year's 24 hours of college basketball on ESPN, though. I am excited about caffeinating the hell out of myself and sitting through the whole thing.

Dale, I don't know how much you know about that Arizona recruiting class, but I've been following it very closely.. it's a monster. Best we've had in 10 years. I'm excited for this season, but the season after is gonna be fun as hell.

Oh, I've been following. Sean Miller has done an unbelievable job. I mean, we all(Arizona fans) expected him to do well... just not this soon.

Yep. He has gone above and beyond. If it wasn't for that stupid sanction we could of very likely landed this guy as well.


Which would have made it on paper perhaps the greatest U of A recruiting class ever. Oh well though, that would of been unfair to the rest of the Pac-10.

Actually, you might want to keep this under your hat when in downtown Tucson, but it's not as doubtful as you'd think. Just keep in mind that Derrick and I went to middle school together and we may or may not rub elbows with the same people. Also keep in mind that there may be an NBA lockout in the future.

Yeah, and unless he has an even more monster season this year I don't think the NBA is gonna jump that much higher on him for whatever reason. I think he's projected as a Mid-first round pick at the moment. Nothing that'll make the kid's decision for him.

Nobody other than Washington and Oregon? Yeah. Stanford and UCLA have also put together very solid recruiting classes for this and next year.

**Considering UCLA got the Ware twins transferring from UNC they've got the best 2010 recruiting class in the Pac 10 by far.
