Damned excited about this! I might do Vegas as well as LA. If those Nov 8th-10th LA dates are right it means I have Massive Attack on the 7th then APC three nights in a row. Good times!

In the Rolling Stone article, it was stated that APC also plans on playing new material at each show. So my guess would be:
Set One:
Full Album
Encore:
New Material
Selected Songs from others albums
I really don't see these shows being that long though since they are pretty much considering them warm up shows for a possible bigger tour.
What is this "three day package" I keep reading about?
Yes I know that "3-day package" = "3 day package". But what I meant was where are people seeing this? I don't see it on ticketmaster, avalon, or livenation.
And my searches on ticketmaster and livenation can't even find a perfect circle. I feel like I am failing so hard right now.![]()
Scenestar reported the 3-day package thing as well as the LA dates. The also reported Portishead on 9/13, but we can't hold that against them forever, can we?
Ron Paul 2012!
Upcoming Shows:
Four Tet
Coachella 4/20-4/22
Death Cab for Cutie/Magik Magik Orchestra
Radiohead
some other bands
Here's the day 2 package
GIVE THIS TO ME!!!
The vegas and los angeles shows were posted on ticketmaster the day the shows were announced. The L.A. shows were pulled shortly after being posted, but when they were posted alongside the three dates was a three day ticket package. The Vegas shows were pulled today if I'm not mistaken, so yeah if you are trying to find anything about the shows on TM or LN it's not gonna happen.
It's likely that TM just jumped the gun putting this info up, but I'm sure within the next week or two the info will be back up with ticket prices, onsale dates, etc.
you fucking assholes are convincing me just go to vegas so i can see both instead of just seeing monday.
No presale for APC today according to my buddy at Ticketmaster.
Stating the bleeding obvious but there you go
Well, there was at least some small improvement over last night. A Perfect Circle now comes up as a band when searched on TM/LN.

I am going to assume the three day package is probably not going to give you any break on price, but it is a way for fans to be able to buy tickets for more than one show.

Man, TM in LA must hate Maynard - keep jumping the gun on Tool/APC shows!
Since I bought the FNM ticket today, I'm happy for a little break to regroup my fundage.
I highly doubt I do, but man I would love to do two nights of this.

LOVE the huge hacking cough at the first mention of Tool.
It's pretty much typical Maynard being an ass.
They said that doing albums in their entirety is essentially the band blowing the dust off. Maynard said he's not a fan of releasing entire albums anymore, but they will most likely release singles. Neither are signed to a label so there's no point in shelling out money to rush through producing a full length.
They mentioned him being somewhere between a capitilist and a communist. He replied by saying people need to understand that they have to do/provide for themselves, referring back to not being on a label. Then saying something along the lines, that if people can provide for themselves such as food, clothes, shelter and stop sucking off the government teet then we could eventually reach that happy/Commy medium.
That's pretty much the gist of what I got out of it.
I'm just listening to Thirteenth Step for the first time in probably 5 or 6 years, and it's a very good album. I know Mer De Noms front and back, as I was a huge fan in High School, but I never got as into Thirteenth Step. It came out when I was more into hardcore punk and 80s indie stuff, so it didn't get the attention it deserved back then. I'm glad they announced this tour and convinced me to dust these records off.
I'm doing the same, coincidentally enough. It's good, but my first thought was that a lot of the songs in the middle of the album don't seem like they'd be very captivating live.

Thanks, Dylan.
I think Mer der Noms is their best album as a whole, but Thirteenth Step has their best songs. Weak and Powerless still reigns above all other APC and Tool for me. The Thirteenth Step misses the mark at times, but everything they played off the album on their 2003-04 tour was money. I am totally hitting up both nights and going to enjoy every minute of it. Hell, I would gladly do the eMotive night as well if I had the money to do so. What's Going On, Passive, and When the Levee Breaks live would be excellent.
For your health
