despair.
As I'm sure you are all preparing for ticket day, here is a quote from Emily Eavis.
from http://www.nme.com/news/various-artists/66487We’ve got a new system which we’re trying out, and we’ve had assurance from See Tickets that it is going to work well and be much more efficient. All I can say is that we’ve done all that we can to try and make it as quick as possible and not have people hanging on phone lines for hours.
Obviously doesn't mean it will be any easier to get tickets, but hopefully just a quicker process either way.
Good luck everyone. Hopefully after this we can start a new thread and really start the planning!
Apparently the endless, meaningless, completely random virtual waiting room has been replaced with a system that limits connections so only a few people at a time will get something other than a "timed out" error. Maybe it'll take longer to sell out, then, guess we'll see. Facebook and twitter people aren't happy. Hope everyone that's trying here gets through.
Yeah I'm not even getting through. Just keeps timing out. Good times.
Had a registration page error out. Damnit.
for those that want a ticket, do the following. (taken from the efests board)
edit your host file and add this 194.168.202.201 glastonbury.seetickets.com
worked immediately after doing that.
I'm fucking in!
Holy shit.
In case anyone needs to know how:

Holy shit guys! Thanks so much! I thought I would never get through. I bought three tickets so we should all get together out there!

BOOOOM, sold out
After one hour and 40 minutes, tickets for Glastonbury 2013 have now completely sold out (in record time). We would like to say an enormous thanks to everyone who managed to buy a ticket - but we'd also like to extend our sincere apologies to the many thousands who missed out.
We're genuinely humbled by the sheer number of people who would like to come to the Festival, and we dearly wish we could
have you all along. Sadly, that just isn't possible, which means a significant number of people have missed out. Tickets were being sold throughout the morning - but demand simply outstripped supply.
If you were one of those who managed to get a ticket, then we look forward to welcoming you to Worthy Farm in June. If not, then there is likely to be a resale of returned tickets in the spring, and your registration will also remain valid for future Glastonbury Festivals - so we hope to see you down here at some point.
Thank you all again for your incredible support for Glastonbury Festival.
Michael & Emily Eavis
FUCK. What a stupid fucking system.
Well thats that. Got nothing. Saw the host trick a little too late. Bestival it is right now.
