The European Music Festival Thread

Who hit some of the European festivals this year or in the past? Share some experiences and reviews so us less fortunate people can live vicariously through you and hopefully attend one or two of them someday. I'm hoping to go to either Glasto, Roskilde, Bestival, Oya, or Way Out West next summer. Well, that's the dream at least.

Go to Roskilde, it's fucking nuts. The Danes drink from the moment they wake up til the moment they pass out, which if you do it right can be at 5 am when the music ends. The sun is also only down from like 12-5am, which is a pretty trippy thing to be a part of.

I'm strongly considering doing this next summer. Depends on the lineup of course but I really want to do this one first.

I think the summer after next I am going tot try to go back, I love that festival so much. It always seems like the odd years have the lineups that are particularly catered to my tastes
