    Looks badass. Why cant they throw something like this together on the east coast once a year, blech.

    would love it on the west coast too. this is way too expensive to make happen. 600 for a ticket and about the same for a flight. add it to the list of festivals i need to attend one day

    It's on the Yucatan Peninsula about 40 miles south of Cancun and adjacent to Cozumel so I would imagine it's about as safe as Mexico gets, which can be not safe at all.
