Your favorite band was left off because they suck
Your favorite band was left off because they suck
This has officially gone too far.
include Green Day on this but no Radiohead???
White Stripes or Arcade Fire, fo' sho.
none
RAPE STOVE
white power?!
Please stop making polls, RATM. I respect you and what you;re trying to achieve, but just stop it... Seriously, I'm completely sick of polls with such inadequate choices.
-----------------------
Seriously, no more polls.
-----------------------
Take Green Day off, they cant be in this poll because they are in the 90's poll. Bands should be limited to one decade unless a substantial amount of their material puts them over the top for both. So Radiohead gets in for sure. Outkast can stay because they are a late 90's that got big in the 00's so thats ok. Other than that everyone is fine poll wise. Of course everyone will say Arcade Fire because they are the hot act of the moment. I'm not voting.. And yeah these polls need very solid choices, not just whats shuffling on yoru ipod at the moment you thought of this thread...
I vote Nickelback...
A teenage dream, so hard to beat...
that's between the white stripes and outkast for me
WHY I EYES YA?
White Stripes or Arcade Fire for me, but there are still three more years in this decade for a mind blowing act.
^ Muse, Editors, The Arcade Fire, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, Belle and Sebastian, Elbow, Midlake, Deus, Placebo, Low, Silversun Pickups, Sparklehorse, Klaxons, The Rapture, M83, Rogue Wave, Annuals, The Thermals, Voxtrot, The View, The Fratellis, Mew, Field Music, Besnard Lakes, Kasabian, The Shins, The Go! Team, Metric, The National, The Faint, The Postal Service, Modest Mouse, Coldplay, White Stripes, Cold War Kids, Tokyo Police Club, The Decemberists, British Sea Power, Boy Least Likely To, The Czars ... and oh, + Radiohead and more.
I'll give them 3 more years (or 1+ more albums).

Midlake, Postal Service, Silversun Pickups, The Thermals, Voxtrot are all good bands, but none have more than 1 full LP that I'm aware of. Mew has 2. Cold War Kids have 2, I believe. The Go! Team just released their 2nd... Then again, I'd at least be comfortable with British Sea Power, The National, and Arcade Fire (each with two full albums) as legitimate choices. I'd also throw Broken Social Scene and Wilco in as possible choices. Wilco has released 2 fantastic studio albums since 2000 and one great live album (oh, and a nice documentary). Destroyer, Okkervil River, The New Pornographers are a few more, and each have released several albums.

Shit, it's 2007. Another decade gone.
Whiskey Sour
2 oz blended whiskey
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
1 cherry
1/2 slice lemon
Shake blended whiskey, juice of lemon, and powdered sugar with ice and strain into a whiskey sour glass. Decorate with the half-slice of lemon, top with the cherry, and serve.
I choose Green Day
And no, Explosions In The Sky doesn't suck.
None of those bands really stick out as better than the rest.
OUTKAST?
WTF?
SouthernPlayalistic
ATLiens
and Aquemini which are all their best albums were all released before 2000.. shit they were up the earlier part of the ninties with players ball..
OUTKAST is the shit though.
