He's had a long string of bad luck all his life...

He beat Lymphoma, Heart Attack, 2 divorces, and was getting ready to get a liver transplant because he got Hep C from a bad blood transfusion. Doesn't seem right to die in a car wreck.

I heard Tim Conway Jr. talking about Schimmel on the radio today; his life, his comedy and his death. RIP.

Robert Schimmel was one of my favorite living comedians. sigh i was going to see him in June or July and decided that he would be back and skip out on it.I remember my dad would play his cd Comes clean all the time when i was little in the car.
This happen to me with George Carlin too($70 tickets) he played like may 17 at the grove and George died in June.
