Is it true that they shut down in the middle of a Tiesto show a couple years ago to bust people? One of my friends is still on probation from getting nabbed by an UC at some Tiesto rave there.

Last years spookfest didn't have a huge presence of cops but the tiesto show got shut down and they were busting people. I heard conflicting stories so who knows what actually happened...

Dear god. I love DJ Shadow and these new tracks are just, well, bad. "Def Surrounds Us" sounds like amateur electronic music, and "I've Been Trying" isn't long enough to develop into anything interesting. What the fuck happened to him?

I wasn't totally enamored with Shadow's new tracks either, but I did like "I've Been Trying" alright.

I have confidence in his live set and am glad that it won't be the same thing I've already seen him do a couple of times before.

Shadow was great opening for MA at the Berkeley Greek in '06 and even better at the Fillmore in '07. Haven't seen him since then, but that will be remedied soon enough. The lighting rig in those videos looks awesome!!!

He's inside the Sphere. It's an LED Cage. There are cameras in there with him, so you can see what he's doing at times. I like this better than the idiot mau5's lighting rig.

1. Is there a bar in the Cow Palace?
2. Is it difficult to get a cab back to the city and how much would it be?
