Yeah the last couple pages of over-thinking is kind of ridiculous, take it elsewhere.
Anyways, what is with all of this incessant worship over Wolfgang?? Can someone please link me to a good boot/track/ANYTHING that can help me understand? And please don't suggest I listen to that Fire Power song, because I have, and a few other tracks, and I can't understand why I would EVER want to go see that over Underworld.
I mean, yeah, it'd be great fun dancing and such...but to miss Underworld and rant and rave and rant and rave and rant and rave about how AMAZING Wolfgang is....
Sorry, maybe I should back off and not come off as hating him so much, admittingly I don't know his stuff...so...enlighten me?
As I've said before, I think Wolfgang is pretty cheesey myself.

Its music people like what they like. Id say his big tracks would be, wolfgangs 5th, fire power, undertaker, and illmerica. he also recently put out a track with deadmau5 (animal rights) which is ok, but when he plays it live he builds it up way more. the birdee remix is pretty good, if you youtube something like "animal rights birdee remix (or retreet)" you should find it no problem. ive said it before and ill say it again, i love wolfgang hes one of the people i enjoy seeing in person the most. he works the crown and keeps the energy up from start to finish.

That reminds me, MSTRKRFT were only drinking beer during their performance. The best times that I've seen them the crown was ever-present.
Edit:
I've also remembered what my favorite costume of the evening was; A bubble wrap cult member from "Dude Where's My Car?"

San Francisco Assemblywoman Fiona Ma has introduced a bill to make hosting a rave a misdemeanor punishable by $10,000 fine.
http://democrats.assembly.ca.gov/mem...2AD12PR01.aspx
The text of the bill is at http://democrats.assembly.ca.gov/mem...2AD12PR01.aspx
421. (a) Any person who conducts a public event at night that
includes prerecorded music and lasts more than three and one-half
hours is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of ten
thousand dollars ($10,000) or twice the actual or estimated gross
receipts for the event, whichever is greater.
(b) Subdivision (a) shall not apply to a public event on private
property if the entity that conducts the public event has a business
license to operate a bar, club, theater, entertainment venue, or other
similar business, or to conduct sporting events, and conducting
the public event is consistent with the business license.
(c) For purposes of this section, “night” means that
Sorry, the text is at http://info.sen.ca.gov/cgi-bin/postq...use=B&site=sen.
Note that depending on the details of the empire polo field's business license, this *could* prohibit Coachella.
Does the music festival *include* prerecorded music?
If so, then it falls within the literal text of the law.
Then the question is: does the entity conducting the music festival have a license "to operate a bar, club, theater, entertainment venue, or other similar business, or to conduct sporting events"?
So: does Goldenvoice have such a license? Does the empire polo field?
Now, maybe this will get amended. And maybe it will fail to pass. But the potential for both doesn't mean the law, as it currently stands, isn't a threat.
Concern about a bill that's been proposed in the legislature is retarded?
Odd. I was of the opinion that the only way to *defeat* a bill proposed in the legislature is to be concerned about it *before it's passed*, and to mobilize to put pressure on your legislators to defeat it *before it's passed*.
It's much easier to defeat something than to repeal it.
*yawn*

fuck this other noise.
two completely different days....
Coachella 07 (the introduction), 08 (the bands), 09 (the documentary), 10 (the people i came with), 11 (the relationship test... we passed), 12 (whatever the weather, Dirty Epic forever), 13 (taking the good with the bad)
- PEARL JAM WHY YOU HATE COACHELLA? -
Its kinda weird that they are announcing the line-up on a Saturday. If you are going to announce on the weekend you might as well do it on a Friday so that people can be talking/hyping it all weekend long. 2cents.
Is 2manydjs/Soulwax the expected headliner? That might be worth checking out, even if its in East Bay.
gunna go out on a limb and say itll end up being SOULWAX vs Skrillex

It better have a stacked undercard if those are the headliners and they are making people take off of work on that Tuesday.
