Finished reading all 79 issues of the comic. I loved it. So much better than the show.

    Comic spoiler:

The episode with the "Governor" is going to be intense.

Has there ever been an instance where someone has read the book/comics and said the show/movie is better?

I've heard a few boardies say they enjoyed the film adaptation of A Clockwork Orange more than the novel.

I enjoyed the movie "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" better than the book.

Fight Club. Even the author agrees.

The best example for this would be "The Shawshank Redemption"

it's not really worth comparing if both the book and movie are shitty as hell.

I think you're in quite the minority on Shawshank.

Season 1 was incredible. Just finished watching the first six episodes in a span of one night. About to checkout the comics.

    I didn't see this anywhere...excellent news:

Anyone notice that in the comics Glenn is wearing a Hieroglyphics shirt (circular face with three eyes and a horizontal mouth). Hiero has always been one of my favorite hip hop groups. Just finished the 7th comic and I think the TV show is better than the comics, even though the comics are very entertaining. Its interesting how the tv series and comics differ quite a lot...

Just read in the comics that Rick is a huge Oakland Raiders fan. This series is getting better and better...

I actually enjoyed the 82 & 83 when I haven't had much interest in the few issues before that. About to read 84.
