The best episode of a rather disappointing season. There were still a handful of WTF moments like Michonne & the zombie daughter.

What didn't was how the Governor knew who Darryl was. The only people in the town who could have identified him as Merle's brother would have been Merle and Andrea, and it was a surprise for both of them when Darryl was trotted out. Unless Darryl got uncharacteristically chatty and gave up his name when he was captured, the way his reunion with Merle went down was a cheat.

I didnt think of that, but that is an excellent point. The ONLY thing I can possibly think of is that Darryl came across one of the Guv'nah's henchmen and he asked for his brother. But really nothing makes sense because he seems like one of the most tight-lipped characters on the show.

Daryl identifying himself as Merle's brother upon capture is the completely obvious way that all went down.

I didn't even think about how The Governor knew Darryl's name but I found it hard to believe that he was captured without a larger ruckus or taking out more of their men.

creepy pedo guy needs to go... I thought he'd be more useful to the group since he appeared to be a mechanic but so far all he's done is creep me out with his sinister/diabolical mustache. I'm glad we found out that Carol isn't a lesbian, though!

I really like Tyrese and the fact he's so level headed. the scene with him calming his group down in the cell and addressing Carl by saying 'his house, his rules' was great. I'm really enjoying Carl's growth this season. he's quickly turned into a BAMF.

I hate how the cliffhanger was diffused by the previews for the next show. I was hoping Merle was going to die.

Tyreese is no T-Dogg. He was a very important character in the comics, so he won't be treated like those other two.

Michonne apparently has a weakness for children and/or thought the Governor was capable of imprisoning a child. But I agree, WTF. She would think she would always be on the look-out for zombies.

the fight was awesome. way to go with the glass in the eye. i thought it was a little silly of michonne to unchain the daughter without further inspection. the governor character is getting a little ridiculous with the brother against brother fight, i hope he goes soon. i like the new people and hope they stick around. i'm glad to see carl asserting himself. and as much as that prisoner was creepy, it's about time we saw someone react to the whole "wow, there's only like two people with whom to procreate" thing. kinda like in 28 days later. you know that shit would happen.

bummed the useless baby is still around, but oh well. can't wait for next season.

Finally went through all of season 3 yesterday and I gotta say it is the most consistently enjoyable season thus far!

I'm really hopeing that Glen will the lead the group since Rick has gone crazy. I'm well aware I can just read the comic but I don't want to ruin it for myself. I know Tyrese is a crucial character but I doubt he will be leading the group or at lest not this soon.

I'm so happy Lori is dead. Not so happy that they have to deal with a baby. How the hell can you keep a baby quiet?
