The first episode is .....around.
Especially if you know how to release yr log.
It's good. It does a fine job of establishing things.
It didnt blow me away or anything, but it does a fine job of setting things up and getting them rolling.
The biggest shock to me was that the lead is the Brit dude that pined for Keira Knightley in Love, Actually and tried to get in on the toke during "Spliff Politics" in Human Traffic.
"All of you coachella 'regulars' have nasty boy pussies and itchy dick4's on your asses.
Why don't you all make like a tree and get chopped down and die. You all have been dreadfully mean to me.
I Hate you. All of you. None of you will ever get to see a womans chest meat or finger blast hott cougies like me.
Fuck you all. Consider this my resignation.
Fair the well, you elitest scumbags."

The guy that plays Morgan is British as well. I thought he was fantastic.
Fuck, youre right.
HE was Sol in Snatch.

Oh yeahhhhhh.
"Too tight? You could land a jumbo fu'en jet in there."
Given the source material and Frank Darabont, you can't write this off so fast. Even if you're tired of zombies.
I really enjoyed the premiere. I'll definitely be watching on Sundays. The scene where Morgan was trying to shoot his wife was so sad.

I was very happy with the minimal commercial breaks.
Was it just me or did the picture quality look kind of grainy? By that I mean: It was in HD but the picture seemed of inferior quality. Did anyone else have/notice that?

I enjoyed it as well, and I also enjoyed the minimal commercial breaks. I haven't read any of the comic book series, so I don't know how it compares to that, but that's probably a good thing.
the first episode was pretty similar to the first book. they added a bit more... especially with dwayne and them... also, a little more happened in the first book towards the end... pretty solid show though.

what a great show! I guess this means it will be cancelled after 6 episodes![]()
Hey dumbass. Yeah, you in the tank.
Apparently Ed from Grizzly Bear thought the premiere was amazing.

I hope they start shooting digitally because it looks like absolute garbage.
I enjoyed it very much and kinda sad that it's only got a 6 episode committment. Hopefully the ratings justify an immediate order more.
Also, for those of you that have read the books, i'm guessing a major character bites it for the season finale (or is that too far ahead in the books?).
nah brandon, the look is perfect imo.
i doubt they'll continue forking over for 16mm though... i could be wrong, but you'll probably get your way.
When I held that gun in my hand, I felt a surge of power…like God must feel when he’s holding a gun.
5.3 million viewers. this show is here to stay for at least a bit.
Good to hear. I'll have to re-watch the premiere... I didn't notice any problems with the picture quality.
Kinda reminds me of when TNT first showed Saving Private Ryan. Apparently TNT received numerous complaints about the color saturation even though the scheme was intentional.
