Doing a trip out somewhere on the long weekend and wondering what is better to spend 2 nights in: San Fransico vs San Diego?

Where to stay as well, looking for some good restaurants, cool stuff to see, and a couple of clubs/lounges (mostly Hip hop if possible)

Any help is appreciated.

Why don't you look into what shows will be going on when you're in town and decide based on that? Both cities have great restaurants and lots of stuff to do. You could try finding show info by going into the San Francisco or the San Diego thread and ask.

I live downtown S.D. and love it but I would pick San Francisco. Best U.S. city period. However if you choose S.D. and into underground hip hop check out Red C Lounge & Bar Dynamite.
