I think they could really bring it. Stevie and Lindsey are still alive, so is Mick.
I'd much rather see this than The Who or the Stones

If they got an actual marching band for "Tusk," then yes.
A marching band would be obligatory, yes.
But this shit ain't happening.
The trouble with 'classic rock' bands like Fleetwood Mac or Rush is that they are expensive and without much crossover appeal to the Coachella demographic. So any promoter should be asking 'are they worth it?'.
The only thing I can say is it would make my dad happy having Fleetwood Mac play. Not sure a Coachella line-up should be 'exciting' for my dad.
I have never considered the word "epic" in connection to Fleetwood Mac
this is something people would really like to see in 2011?
'99-'11...
listen to rumors and tell me again if you feel that way. i'm not saying that its like dark side level good, but its a great album with some great, really huge songs
I am a gigantic Fleetwood Mac fan and the idea of them headlining doesn't really excite me. I don't know why. I almost feel like they should sub with a 50 minute set and play their hits.

Purely based on how contrived and unenergetic their live performances have become... no. Maybe just Stevie Nicks?
The first time I saw them they were still a blues band. It was at some field at vanderbilt U in Tenn. They sure did change. I am guessing summer of 69 or 70.

It wouldn't be interesting. The only interesting thing about Mick Fleetwood is this:

"Don't stop---thinking about Coachella-- Don't stop-- it'll soon be here..."
1. Run to a nice patch of grass on the fields and lay face down.
2. Tilt your head ninety degrees with your forehead temple resting on your forearm and watch people through the vision pocket right underneath your armpit hair.
3. Do this for a few hours until you get comfortable.
A Daft Punk thread containing 'nothing of substance'. How bout that.
I love Fleetwood Mac, but...
Only if Christine McVie comes out of retirement.
Fuck.
So it was Patton?
Yes, like many have said, i fucking adore Fleetwood Mac...but I don't want them at Coachella.
