I made this mix. Just released it. And I am trying to get it into as many ears as I can. It's really fun, dance-y, and quick moving w/ hip hop, electronic, and pop spanning many decades.

primarily the mashups containing multiple god-awful artists. when a DJ puts two shitty songs together to make another shitty song and puts it on youtube, or on a blog, unless it's accompanying/intended for an official release, you're basically just stealing someone else's live mashup and making it part of your set.

besides, did you really think the lady gaga/metallica song was, well, good?

I'm not stealing shit. I'm crediting their work in my tracklist, getting their shitty mashup in front of more ears, and playing their music, which is what a DJ does.

That is how I feel about it, but I do sincerely appreciate you bringing it up. And to answer your question, yes, I like the Lady Gaga/Metallica mashup, and I think other people will, too.
