Wasn't expecting Sevens Swans to be so explosive, that was a fantastic song to start the show off with. Definitely one of the better concerts this year.
Glad he did Owl and the Tanager on Sunday. Along with everything else, of course. Great show. 2nd only to Arcade Fire, as far as shows this year are concerned.

Pretty nice footage of 9 minutes of "Impossible Soul" from Saturday's Wiltern show has popped up. The sound isn't great, but the video is pretty terrific!

Take it down, Drinkey. Why ruin it for people who haven't seen the show yet?

Uh yeah, it's meant more for people who have seen the show, or those who can't go to any of the shows, or people that are really, really curious. It's not hard to not spoil things for yourself if you don't want to.

Wow. I wish I was going to get to see him this time around.
Which albums are available at the merch table? On vinyl?
I didn't actually go up and look but there seemed to be quite a bit of vinyl. The guy sitting next to me bought a copy of Michigan.

Last night was awesome. Everyone got up and started dancing during Impossible Soul which was really cool. Bummed I didnt get to hear John Wayne Gacy but Jacksonville was a great closer.
ON a side note the t-shirts were awful. They look like the printed ones that those dudes always sell outside venues for like $5
I want Seven Swans. Did they have that for sale?
Anyone have a video of Jacksonville?
Just out of curiosity . . .
I had a chance for tickets to the Saturday show, but I couldn't get a babysitter. Would this have been an appropriate show for a 5 year old?
I don't see why not.

I know. The drive to LA was the deciding factor. We ended up having fun that night regardless.
That was the oddest Sufjan show that I've ever seen. I think he played 2 songs not off of the new EP/LP. Pretty much the Wiltern setlists, minus Seven Swans to open, opening with Age of Adz followed by Too Much. Same set follows, more or less. Encore of UFO Sighting into All Delighted People.
Also, before playing Get Real Get Right, did he do a 10 minute rambling monologue at the other shows?
