Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Faith No More and Paramore will play the championship Ducks / Broncos championship halftime show.
Oh the amount of money I would pay to see that.
Screw Oregon...here's hoping for a winning season this year.

usc will dominate and create headaches for ap voters.
oregon st., oregon, washington, stanford, arizona will go to bowl games. ucla will have a losing record.
and it begins...
another year of PAC 10 (by board member location of course) leanings. Sigh.
Really there is little difference saying this from say the Big 10, to oh' I don't know... the Pac 10?
Also pre-season polls are kinda stupid. BUT if you are seriously asking why there is no PAC 10 love this year, you haven't done your homework. If you look at last year's bowl games, didn't the PAC 10 go 2-5? (Big 10 went 4-2) If you look at the percentage of starters lost to grad/draft in combination to the teams in the top 25, I can see the non-love pretty damn easy. Again pre-season is stupid, but they point to things, like the PAC 10 is kinda sucky.
Just sayin.

I know your just punching button Tom, but you're smarter than that.
and while I wouldn't put OSU at #2, they are a top 15 team for sure, along with Wisc and possibly Iowa. I think there are 3/4 good teams in the Big Ten. Legitimate good, well-rounded teams, but they proved that last year in the bowls, when the same things were being said.
Pac 10, 2-5
Big Ten, 4-2
I remember a lot of people here saying a lot crap, like The Ducks were going to roll the Buckeyes last year. My, my, my, how soon we forget.

For the lulz...
Oregon St. player dismissed after arresthttp://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5491740CORVALLIS, Ore. -- An Oregon State University offensive lineman has been dismissed from the team after police say they found him naked and intoxicated in a stranger's home and had to use stun guns to take him into custody.
Corvallis police say they received the call about a naked intruder early Sunday.
Responding officers ordered 19-year-old Tyler Patrick Thomas of Kalispell, Mont., to get on the ground, Lt. Tim Brewer said.
Thomas refused and instead dropped into a three-point stance like a football player and lunged at the officers, Brewer said. At that point, he said, two officers fired their stun guns.
Brewer said Thomas "absolutely was intoxicated" at the time.
Thomas was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespass, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. He was booked into the Benton County jail and later released.
A home phone listing for Thomas couldn't be found.
Oregon State coach Mike Riley dismissed Thomas from the team Monday, OSU athletics spokesman Steve Fenk said. Thomas redshirted during the Beavers' 2009 season.

The 2010 Season kicks off in a little over 2 hours.
I'm very excited/nervous to see how UW's offense evolves with everyone but a lineman returning and another full offseason under Sarkisian. With Locker at the helm the Huskies are poised to score a lot this season. BYU is tough but they lost a ton of starters last year. We'll see, glad we're not going to Provo in November.
Go Huskies.

Michigan is gonna surprise people. Rich Rod knows his job is on the line. Denard Robinson is gonna start. And he actually learned how to throw the ball during the offseason, he is gonna be dangerous. O-line will be great. they only question is their defense but I'm gonna predict 9 wins.

Is USC really considering dropping out of the Pac 10 and going independent?

They would probably make more money with an exclusive TV contract on the strength of their brand. But from a football perspective it would be a very foolish decision, imo.
Poor UC Davis, they really are out of their league. It's tough for a redshirt freshman QB to earn his stripes against the big boys like this. At least the program collects a nice $300k check for throwing itself to the wolves.
**No shutout! Hurray!
Go Huskies.
Oregon 65, nothing. Doin work in the NW today. GO DUCKS!!!!
That commercial with Mack Brown and Nick Saban playing Hungry Hungry Hippos is hilarious.
