Tame Impala For Coachella 2011

Just heard these guys for the first time and loved their sound. From Perth, Australia. Nice blurb in Spin stating the following

Influences: "60's and 70's rock like Hendrix, Zeppelin, and The Groundhogs; the Chemical Brothers are in there too"

Sound like "Psychedelic rock played with electronic music feel.

these guys sound so much like the beatles sometimes it is spooky. i am down for them, pretty sure they will be coming through.

These guys were a late add/replacement at Sasquatch (because they were touring with MGMT). I knew nothing about them and they were awesome live. I totally support this.

I am going to see them at Coachella just so I can say I saw them in the US. It will be so weird to see a local band that I've been seeing at local haunts for years playing on a big stage in another country.

I saw them about 2 years ago open up for You Am I and they were terrible....BUT, they have VASTLY improved to be a really good live band.
