I feel you on that one. Bullet w/ Butterfly seemed sped up and he looked bored and emotionless. In fact the crowd looked the same way in that song almost obligated to sing their part.

weirdness. i think he's uncomfortable with those period songs or something. but he knows the crowd wants to hear it. so he just speeds thru it...

this is almost as laughable as the new Metallica...

He sure seems back into it for United States though. I really like the new bass player and that kid looks like he won some contest to be there but he's solid.

I watched the tale end of the stream last night and it was pretty damn good. Byrne is a pretty damn good drummer for his age but he still doesn't have what Chamberlin had. He seems more calculated than free form. It's understandable at this stage in the game though, he's still trying to find his own. Plus it's not like the drum parts he had to learn were that simple. Billy is still a douche but he does write some pretty damn good songs. Wish I could go to The Metro tonight though

i'm sure i'll watch for a bit...but i'm mostly just waiting for the Keys, National and Spiritualized. Those will be awesome!
