I got a chance to see La Roux, free of charge while in Mammoth this weekend. There was a huge snowboarding event that got canceled due to 55mph winds at the base of the mountain. (I heard 100 at the top).

It was hard to ride, needed to get out of my hotel room. So I saw her.

I do love her voice. It has a unique, haunting quality to it. It's the damn songs and crap arrangement of them. This just puts in the same pop diva category as Brittany, Christina, Kei$ha and the rest of those soulless entertainers.
