The White Stripes 9/18
Ryan is a big spender who only found austerity when Obama was elected. Rubio has no real accomplishments of any sort. Christie already pissed off the "base" by appointing a Muslim judge.
The Republican base isn't big enough to win an election. They aren't even big enough to nominate their preferred candidate(s) in their own party.
RAPE STOVE
white power?!
A bit of a chip at the notion that the Tea Party is just another word for Republican, and doubts about the efficacy of their movement:
At least one poll says 7 in 10 Americans favor the Buffet Rule (others quote at least as 6 in 10), including a majority of Republican constituents. Those who identify as Tea Party are the only group that generally oppose it, and the Senate is about to kill it.
Some might dismiss this as just a political move against Obama, but to vote against the majority of consituents seems to me to suggest that do perceive a material difference between "republicans" and "tea party" and they seem to have no fear of the former.
what a sick thrill it would be to see him actually try to go on a shooting rampage after a Romney loss.

I'm not sure the article quite lives up to the title, but it's pretty ridiculous nonetheless.

How Water Guns aren't considered 'Arms' is beside me.
If there's Coachella to be had, I'm gonna have it
What's that? I was lost in a daydream of storming the convention with a pair of water pistols and shooting off toupees like I was winning a carnival prize.

An actual quote from Grover Norquist:
The election of Socialist Francois Hollande to the presidency of France is a transparent ploy by the DNC to make Obama look more reasonable. Probably organized by ACORN and funded by Soros. American voters will see through this ruse.
It's printed in a Politico column to which he regularly contributes, but I thought the same thing. Sent the editor an email which I don't expect to see answered.

A conservative group has an issue with free pizza:
http://www.azcentral.com/business/co...#ixzz1vkLkkgniPizza Patron, a 104-unit, carry-out pizza chain headquartered in Dallas, is raising eyebrows both inside and outside the Latino community with a planned promotion to give away thousands of large pepperoni pizzas on the evening of June 5 to folks who order in Spanish.
It can be broken Spanish. It can be first-time Spanish. But it has to be Spanish.
EDIT
One conservative group doesn't like it, either. "It seems to punish people who can't speak Spanish, and I resent that," says Peter Thomas, chairman of the Conservative Caucus, which advocates English as the nation's spoken language. "In public areas, people should be speaking English, and that includes pizza parlors."
He has a point. The Spanish word for pizza is really hard. It's...ready for this...pizza.

This is like that part in The Thing when the dog gets lost and everyone carries on with their day.
Fox & Friends isn't regular news programming. Steve Doocy is only technically a human being. Doesn't change the fact that Fox News should not be producing that content. They've already pulled the video and put out a statement claiming it wasn't approved at the executive level. Trial balloon.
