Yes, the middle class folks I know likely showed up in 2010 to vote for their safe seats but a huge chunk of the young hope and changers didn't even know there was another congressional election.

Your point wasnt subtle, it just wasn't worthy of a response. It's just a dumb theory that you can't substantiate. It's not like the youth vote in a non-presidential election is going to be what kills Obama's productivity. Local issues are different issues. But I'm the dumb one for not picking up on your pattern earlier so go right ahead. I won't engage further.
oh and btw calling the people that put Obama over the top "idiots" made it reasonable to assume you were pro-Romney
2008 - Obama wins by 7 points
2010 - the hope and changers don't know there is an election and they still have to validate their past vote in the congressional elections.
I can't blame you for not paying attention but the few hundred posts on this subject should have given some clue to the more perceptive of the bunch here that I am most definitely not pro-Romney.oh and btw calling the people that put Obama over the top "idiots" made it reasonable to assume you were pro-Romney
The only issue I care about is using drones to kill terrorists and people unlucky enough to look like terrorists and otherwise fighting the war on terror by any means necessary and Obama gets an A+ there. It's only the past few days the reality of Obamney care has started to sink in.

While on the subject of the distinction between the words 'poor' and 'working/middle class', i find it funny that political campaigns rarely seem to overtly refer to "the poor", even Democrats. It's always "the middle class", which I understand is the main voting bloc. but still.
I love this word....sequester’s....

* Marginally employed TRUE - LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO SPEND IT ALL TOILING AWAY
* No post-secondary education SOME COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUT THAT SHIP SANK WITHOUT A LIFEBOAT. TOO LATE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT NOW.
* Doesn't understand how the ACA works I'VE ASKED THESE QUESTIONS ACROSS SEVERAL BOARDS AND RECIEVED DIFFERENT ANSWERS LEADING ME TO BELIEVE NO ONE KNOWS HOW IT WORKS
* Doesn't support Obama. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY SUPPORT? I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA AND DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY, THEREFORE I DON'T "SUPPORT" ANY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES.

Gawd bless you, and at least you are honest. And I do appreciate your input on this matter. I am not good at reading stuff other than short paragraphs or making important decisions.
I am just afraid of becoming homeless, unemployed or missing Coachella over this.
And the thing that gets me the most is voting isn't really supposed to change anything.

posts like that are just way too much of a trolling giveaway.
Try to be at least a tad subtle if you hope to lure anyone in.
I still am upset that Michelle Bachmann and Joe Walsh (the congressman, not the singer) were somehow reelected.

January 20, 2017 this country goes back on track
Jeb Bush Mulling Presidential Bid
New York Times: "Mr. Bush is said by friends to be weighing financial and family considerations -- between so many years in office and the recession his wealth took a dip, they said, and he has been working hard to restore it -- as well as the complicated place within the Republican Party of the Bush brand."
"After Mitt Romney's defeat by a Democratic coalition built around overwhelming support from Hispanics and other fast-growing demographic groups, many Republicans are looking for a candidate who can help make the party more inclusive without ceding conservative principles -- and no one is the subject of more speculation at this point than Mr. Bush."
"To his supporters, Mr. Bush is the man for the moment. His wife, Columba, was born and raised in Mexico. He speaks Spanish and favors overhauling the immigration system in a way that would provide a route to citizenship for people already in the country illegally but otherwise law-abiding."

ha, public universities subsidized by the state, who still are charging high tuition for large classes with teachers who've never worked outside the hypothetical land of academia are the real devils. at least we learn from our mistakes and constantly improve. for example no one is paid for the # of enrollments anymore, it's all about the quality of the enrollment. though i do acknowledge other bad apples in the industry.
Ivy, I was just kidding. I keep hearing the argument from that article on NPR lately. I wish someone would do something about it.
