There's a true crime special on right now about a murder whose prime suspect's main defense is that he's too overweight to have committed the crime. It's called Too Fat To Kill. I can't look away. This is awful.

Too Young To Die, Too Fat To Kill.
The new Community was hilarious. As it should be.
Modern Family is one of the best half-an-hour shows on television. Fact.
.
Modern Family, Community, 30 Rock, AND The office all brought the lulz this week.
Im actually surprised this joke made it on the air (30 rock), but I lol'd none the less

*there are plans, but they have no dates*
The Ira Glass cameo on the new episode of The Simpsons warmed my heart to such an extent that afterward it was a slightly warmer temperature.
Watched Community and 30 Rock this morning. Community is getting a little too mired in the soap opera aspects, but still had some hilarious bits. 30 Rock was fantastic though, the awkward interactions between Fey and Damon were genius. My favorite line almost slipped right by me...when Damon expressed his shame about how many women he had slept with, and then announced the number was 6, Fey says "Ohhhh...that's not that good..."
That .gif of Pete's wife will keep me up at night for all the most wrong of reasons.
Bored to Death is humorous and enjoyable. I can't tell if not knowing about it until now is a result of my isolationist interaction habits and complete lack of party chatting or if people just aren't talking about it.
Oh. Miriam Shor as an angry lesbian. And John Hodgman as a John Hodgman-y character. Just gets better.

Wait what? And that's Sarah Vowell. I might be dreaming this.
I am halfway through season 2 of Breaking Bad on dvd. Almost spit out my beer when Bob Odenkirk showed up. And he continues to be hilarious. Awesome.

First season of Bored To Death was great. I haven't watched this season yet, because I just got my satellite dish hooked back up. I apologize for not specifically mentioning it to you before, Hannah & Ivy.
My favorite episode was when Parker Posey cancelled a date because her son "Accidentally ate some gluten and now his wrists are kind of puffy."
We've only been getting the slightly-too-mysterious ads for it.
Like, literally the only thing the ads give away is that Laura Innes or somebody who speaks a lot like Laura Innes is in it. I'm all for drawing folks in with a bit of mystique, but give me something to get hold of.
Anyway, is it good? And what the fuck is it about?
It is actually pretty good, I was kind of on the fence for the first couple episodes but it is growing on me. It is about aliens who landed here a long time ago and have been held captive by our government for 40 some years. They of course are much smarter than us and somehow make an entire plane disappear after someone hijacked it and tried to fly it into the president.
I just started watching Archer. Pretty damn funny.

Re: The Event, it's alright, but it reminds me a lot of FlashForward and 4400, two shows that both tried to coast along on cliffhangers and annoying plot gimmicks. Surprised how much I enjoy Laura Innes, but unless it gets way more exciting, quickly, I won't be making an effort to watch it.
I also find it kind of annoying the way everybody keeps referring to "THE EVENT!" all the time. It feels like a really clumsy way to provide material for trailers, and a really strained way to try and create a sense of
EDIT: I like the way I never completed that sentence. Seems appropriate, so I'll leave it as it is.
It also reminds me of one of my favourite Mitchell & Webb sketches, the particularly sinister "Remain Indoors" series.
PLEASE DON'T THINK ABOUT THE EVENT!

The first couple episodes had me ready to delete it from my DVR but since then it has gotten better, I think we have made it to episode 6 and it is getting more interesting/less gimmicky. I was actually into FlashForward and am kinda sad it got canceled, I hate when shows go away with so many unanswered questions.
i finally finished battlestar. i liked it. i agree some parts of three were strange, but not bad enough for me to stop watching. i wish i looked like starbuck so i could be her for halloween.
is todd margaret still on air? nothing has recorded recently.
