So I'm still making it through Buffy and now that I'm on the 4th season, I'm synchronizing with Angel. Anyway, just watched "Hush" and holy hell was that a great episode. The Gentlemen are seriously the best villains on the show so far (or at least the best one off villains). Everything else about the episode was ace as well. If you want to fuck up your kids for life, make them watch this.

One of the scariest episodes ever AND one of the funniest. That classroom scene is a riot.

This is me on Halloween a few years ago

I had a heart in a jar too, but I don't have a good pic.

I didn't like it at first, but as it went on, it found its groove and is full of lulz.
I also like Family Guy and American Dad, but there's just something weird about a guy having 3 shows he created on the air on the same night.
    Shit ain't right...

Cleveland show is watchable (though I usually don't). American Dad is pretty terrible though.

    Waaat?
If i HAD to pick one, i'd say American Dad was the superior of the 3.
    But, to each their own.

The alien and the goldfish are too much. To me, it always felt like "Well, Family Guy has a talking baby and dog, so we need to put some wacky characters here too." If think it would be better if it stuck more to straight up political satire and spy movie spoof stuff. I just have never laughed at it, though admittedly, I gave up after a few episodes.

Cleavland Show is the least creative of the 3 I suppose, but I always laugh at some stupid thing in it. Also, yes, I know there's a talking bear, but to me, that always seemed like an admission of "Yes, it's stupid we have talking animals in all our shows."

The Balls Deep song from Cleveland Show had me rolling

And I dunno what eps you watched from American Dad, but you should get back on it or something. I find the alien, Roger, and the son the funniest characters on the show.

I sure don't hold Seth MacFarlane's fame and fortune against him, but that doesn't mean I understand or appreciate it either.

pushing daisies. from the makers of dead like me, and a similar premise except much much better done with hilarious lines and some of the absolute best cinematography ever on television.

I got the BluRay for my ex for Christmas. I don't think she ever watched it. Mine now.

    Some of the gases are....volumliuous.....

    That is all.

    Edit:
I did some research on this Zamfir guy. He's sold more records than the Beatles. His music's better too.

We don't have a formatting variant that properly conveys my excitement over high speed reptile/amphibian footage.

The show in that last post premieres tonight.

I'm watching the Sci Fi Science marathon and I'm basically just sitting on my couch being repeatedly astonished. Seventeen grams of antimatter could take us to Alpha Centauri in forty years. Forty fucking years.

    "I'm naming all the stars."

"You can't see the stars, love, that's the ceiling. Also, it's day."

"I can see them. But I've named them all the same name, and there's terrible confusion."

She's awesome. And Spike was lame without her.

    "Good point."

And I still like post-Drusilla Spike. Especially tied up in Giles bathtub making idle threats because he can't watch Passions.

Acutally, I forgot about that whole thing. And he's awesome in Hush. So yeah, okay, conceded. He sucked in the whole angsty Twilight phase thing.

I've been thoroughly enjoying old episodes of The Avengers lately. What a weird-ass show...

My ex and I a few years ago... My makeup didn't quite work right, and my mouth looks stupid because my fangs kept falling out, but she was pretty dead on.

Really, it was just an excuse for me to buy a floor length leather coat.

I just finished watching the premiere episode of Sherlock, a BBC Wales/WGBH co-production starring the fantastically named Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman (The Office) as Dr. John Watson.

Ordinarily I'm suspicious of classic characters shoehorned into contemporary times, but a friend who's something of a Sherlock Holmes buff felt strongly enough about its validity that he burned me a DVD this very afternoon. His intuition was right: I thought it was wonderfully captivating, stylistically shot, and with enough genuine twists to keep me riveted for all 90-odd minutes.

Sadly, there exist but three 90-minute episodes (or films, or whatever), though they've apparently been successful enough with critics and viewers that another run is in the works.

Supposedly Sherlock is going to air on PBS soon.
