Endeavour still hasn't found the humor that was at the heart of the Inspector Morse character, but this first series has been pretty rewarding all the same.

Jane Campion's miniseries Top of the Lake, whose first season really recently just ended, is already up on Netflix Instant. I've heard good things, and Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss is the lead.

I mean, it just seems silly that they were filmed for 9 years all for what may be a 2 hour documentary, or something.

But I think I remember an ad of the show in the show about it being a show.
Hopefully they touch on this during tonight's series finale.

We liked it too. The show definitely got uneven when it lost Michael Scott and gained too many new characters - and Pam turned into a shrew - but the finale was pretty much dead on.

I laughed my ass off at pretty much everything Gervais said in the pre-show, too. That dude could read Fox News talking points and make them hilarious. Oh, wait.

Yeah, I watched the Office finale last night after having not watched the show in about 2 years, and I loved it. I don't want to see any of the past few seasons at all, but it was a great ending to what was, at times, a great show, and I loved that they really gave it a proper ending that felt final but also very sweet, real and honest.

is anyone watching Orphan Black on BBC America? The season 1 finale was tonight and it was pretty good. The show seemed to pile on too much, too fast at first, but the pacing for the last 8 episodes was fantastic. The girl playing all those characters deserves an Emmy nomination.

scenicworld, Orphan Black was one of the most satisfying new television shows I've watched in recent months, even with all its imperfections. I'm somewhat taken aback by how much new quality television programming I've binged on in the first half of 2013, like Top of the Lake, The Fall, Rectify and The Americans...even the damn ABC Family channel churned out Bunheads which I unashamedly love.

I'm planning a rewatch of Orphan Black so the boyfriend can watch. I think the pacing issues I had with the first part of season 1 will be less of an issue when you can watch several episodes in a row.

while you've been watching quality television, I've been watching terrible television. I'm watching that mock-reality survivor show called Siberia where a group of people are left to fend for themselves in the remote siberian wilderness... oh and there's monsters or aliens or something. I know it's supposed to be horrible, but they really excelled in the horribleness. Under the Dome is equal parts terrible and interesting, but I'll watch to see where it goes since it's the summer and being unemployed means I have lots more time for shitty tv shows.

at least Falling Skies is back!

Orphan Black didn't really catch my fancy after one episode. Doubtful on giving it another shot.

Hadn't seen Big Brother since that handsome Dr. Will guy was on, whatever year that was, but watching it now. Some good old fashioned, all-american trashy tv.

it took about 4 episodes for Orphan Black to start hitting its stride but I'm glad I stuck it out.

I've never watched Big Brother, but lately I find myself watching the overnight live stream on TVG while I'm falling asleep. god, it's trashy!

I've been stuck watching just about everything with "wars" in the title.. storage wars, shipping wars, property wars, pawn shop wars... I need a job.

    okay, may try it more.

CBS should do a Coachella Board Big Brother version with drugs allowed instead of just booze.

I have watched BB for the last few seasons, it's horrible and I love it. I can't wait for the cute little blonde girl to get booted and find out she lost her modeling job for being a racist cunt.

That's not a bad idea cept it would have to be legal so only weed.
I caught up with 12 hours of Bachelorette : Poor Des, I don't like her choices. She looks just like a x girlfriend (cept smaller boobs) ago for me so it hurts a bit to watch this. I hope the dude that isn't sure, the dark hair dude, gets his act together and it is a story book ending. cr****

I'm still watching it, but if it wasn't for the lack of summer programming, I'd probably skip it. I didn't read the book so I have no idea what's in store for this series, but I guess we'll find out.

I was going to watch it but I already feel guilty for the amount of space I use on the DVR so I skipped it.

I have been watching Mistresses. It's horribly trashy and I am embarrassed that I am watching it. I have crushed on Alyssa Milano for a couple of decades now though, so I can't stop.

Same here. I'm currently only watching this and Dexter until Breaking Bad comes back. Been marathoning How I Met Your Mother on Netflix on the side to catch up before Comic Con next week.
