HBO has made the 75 minute Pilot available on YouTube. The embed is disable because you have to be logged in due to age restrictions.
I liked it.
This ain't no middle of the mall shit.
I got my wisdom teeth out and am doped up on painkillers for the next couple days. Please recommend me a tv show I can start watching that will fit well with these circumstances.
Netflix instant or being able to start a hulu+ trial for is preferred. Thanks.
maybe for some laughs, if you like louie, maybe try out peep show or black books on netflix instant.

I've only seen season 1 of Twin Peaks and didn't feel inclined to finish it off too much. Worth the time? I just got a huge feeling that it wasnt going to bring much satisfaction.
Never heard of Black Books. Thanks for the rec. Seems like my kind of thing.
The first 7 or so episodes of season 2 and the final maybe 3 are worth watching. All the Laura Palmer stuff. And the last episode has the crazy Black Lodge sequence that makes the awfulness of the middle episodes worth enduring.
If you missed the pilot of The Newsroom, you'll be able to catch up pretty quickly, as Sorkin is recycling all of his old material.
Friends’ ex-coworker’s son is on that new show The Glass House, so have seen both episodes in support of her boy Jeffrey. The show is one of those team based, voting challenge deals, but I like it more because the particular team members intertwine changing teams week-to-week and the public votes on who stays or goes. It’s trashy fun and Jeffrey has a chance to go far with his good natured likeability and timely humor (I don’t think the show has indicated it, but he does standup in NYC. Insider scoop.)
I am almost done with the first season of Mad Men, I am loving this show. I am also through season 5 of Dexter and now I have to wait for season 6 to be released on DVD. What would you all recommend next? I was thinking Breaking Bad but the idea of a show based on meth kinda grosses me out. Is it really that good? Is there anything else I should watch?

Just finished the first season of "Heroes", can't believe it was 25 fucking episodes. For one season, damn. The second season is definitely not holding on as strong.
I loved the first season, and even made it through the second but not as quickly. After that it lost me though. I usually refuse to quit books or tv shows until the bitter end but I never did go back and finish that one.
Seriously, you jerks don't know what you're missing out on with Push Girls.

I think I get that channel, I will check it out. With most of the shows on hold right now I just don't have enough tv to entertain my brain. You can only watch so much diners, drive ins and dives.
Oh I get it. You're talking to a guy who cried at the end of Gremlins. Well, I was 6 at the time, but still..
I found that show pretty involving, too, but the ending kinda made me cringe. Though, to be fair, I watched the finale separately from the rest of the season. My DVR didn't record the finale and I think I ended up seeing it two years after watching every single other ep.
Gremlins is fucking traumatic though. I don't know if the ending holds up. I just know it got me all emotional the one time I saw it. I'm amazed I still cared at that point. There are some reeeeaaallllly rough patches over the course of that thing.
Six Feet Under is my favorite anything that ever was. I wish I could watch it again for the first time.
^ I rewatched it last summer. It had been like 5 years since i last watched it and i forgot about so many little details that it felt like a completely new experience. I was doing some classes during the summer session and I spent two weeks watching all of it over again.
