But you are still watching a show that was meant for young teenage girls. I mean I would believe the eye candy part if you turned it on for maybe 5 or so minutes every 3 months but every episode come on. Don't you have any self pride/respect? I watch a lot of television and have no reason to believe watching this one hurts my self pride or respect. If you do, you need to check yo self.

Went to the latest presentation in USC's series retrospective of Twin Peaks last night, and it was great. Four episodes, including episode #14 and it's beautiful sequence that leads up to the reveal, plus guests including but not limited to Mary Sweeney (editor), Piper Laurie, Tim Hunter, and others. Seeing those episodes on a big screen was the best way to experience it.

Also, they served donuts and coffee half-way through (although there was no cherry pie). Perfection.

Twin Peaks has been on the backburner for me since High School. I really need to just sit down with it one weekend.

It is always a great experience seeing your favorite TV shows in theaters!

First episode of Utopia was excellent. Is it on in the US?

In short - a graphic novel that seemed to predict the future. Turns out there is a second unpublished volume, and lots of shady people are trying to get their hands on it.

Just make sure you are not eating during the torture scene.

WATCH UTOPIA

I got Tallguy Chris on it and he's hooked too. I burned thru the whole first season in like 2 days (6 episodes). Fucking awesome television.

Watching House of Cards now; I liked the first episode. Spacey is obviously incredible, he pulls off that South Carolina drawl like a second skin. He's also a complete badass. Excited to keep watching, but it is no where near the head trip that Utopia was. Still recovering, holy shit.

Anybody seen Utopia and can recommend more great TV like that? I really enjoyed Black Mirror (another British miniseries) and it was in the same kind of vein. Very edgy, near-future dystopic vibe. Anyway, it's highly recommended.

WATCH UTOPIA

Not like I'm a critic whore or anything, but I can't find any sort of reviews on it, good or bad. Not on metacritic, imdb, even wikipedia, nothing. I'm genuinely intrigued by this show and your large bold fonts but I want to read some sort of reviews before I commit to trying out season 1. I already watch too much TV.

Also, I know this comes up every now and then in this thread, but for people that have watched all of the Americans so far, is it worth starting that up?

I'm finally current with The Following and I really want to like it, but the pacemaker being used so often as a contrived plot point gets on my nerves. typically, I avoid crime dramas and medical dramas, but this show is really starting to get good. I almost gave up on it after the 3rd episode, but I went on a tear the last couple days and watched 5 episodes. The murder in the latest episode was probably one of the most beautiful murder scenes I've ever seen*.
