I have tons. Some of the biggest offenders for me are bands like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and LCD Soundsystem.

i'm not a fan of bowie's vocals mr. mills. vocals are a huge thing for me. doesn't mean you have to be a great singer or even non-annoying (i love robert smith for crying out loud), but i have to like your style and i don't like his for whatever reason. i think he frightened me in labrynth. that movie would be so awesome with out his scary, glittery package.
and donald, i'm glad i'm not the only one who doesn't get LCD soundsystem. i don't hate them like randy, all my friends is good, but i don't get the obsession either.
If you want to fully get LCD you need to see them live. They are absolutely at the top of the game right now, and there's a sense of immediacy and electricity that the albums just can't get across (although I think the albums are amazing as well).
Agreed. I started listening to LCD in 2007, but I wasn't a HUGE fan until I saw them live.

I saw them in 2007. They have a handful of decent songs. I just think they are way over rated. The whole idea that a disco punk funk act writes 9 minute disco opuses really infuriates me in a way I can't even fully describe.
I forgot to mention, I like Pet Sounds.

I love LCD and have seen them twice, but they are undoubtedly overrated imo. Their music, outside of a few songs, is simple and not really capable of being listened to repeatedly in one sitting (without the influence of heathen vices).
That's not to say that I dislike those other songs because I like everything LCD has ever released. I just think those songs are fun music, not amazing music like everyone else thinks it is.
Because LCD isn't my very favorite band? They're easily one of my favorite recording musicians right now, I just don't think they're the be-all-end-all of postmodern indie that everyone else thinks they are around here.
I mean, seriously, I fucking love LCD. I'm just admitting that I think they are somewhat overrated.
I don't think the BBC recording is over-hyped, if it's even hyped at all. That's not really what I was referring to.
I am saying that the original recording is over-hyped, and that I don't like it as much as an alternative "live" session at the BBC that was recorded around the same time (a year before or after, I believe) as Live in Pompeii. I also think Darkside is overrated because it is their "big" album, though it is far from their BEST work (which is obviously Saucerful of Secrets and Meddle).
Tom bait.
I'm a bit let down.
