At the same time, I think the guy puts a lot into his shows production wise (costume changes, etc.) and he might not be willing to do a 50 minute set.

I saw weird al back in 07, it was actually pretty fun. Well-done video show with a shitload of costume changes. Not sure if he'd fit the bill for coachella but I'd try and see it if nothing conflicted.
