Cell phones aren't allowed.
But NO, I'm not surprised. I was about to delete my tickets anyway, since I can no longer make it. Oh well. He probably would have been able to smell the bacon-wrapped hot dog carts on Hollywood Blvd anyway!
I've brought one in every time (~15 events), even indoors. However, if you go to Ferguson or Lopez, they'll make you check it in and you pick it up after the show. They wouldn't even let me bring in a custom-made John Waters doll at Ferguson when he was on the show.
Cameras aren't allowed at Kimmel, but phones are no problemo.
Kimmel's security team are tools
Also, dammit, Nickelback is sold out. I almost want to go to that just to see my least favorite band in the world ever.
Who sells that out?
And I just wonder, what is someone like Chad Kroeger like in real life? I imagine he's a horrible douche-bag, and I'd be so shaken up if he weren't. I mean, that music is so incredibly derivative and self-serious without any real redeeming value.
From this thread, everyone's been saying that showing up at 7 is fine. This is also true for 5 o'clock shows?
Coming from Irvine so I definitely can't make 5, but 7 is doable.
If it's an Indoor Concert or a full taping, DON'T be late or you won't get in.
my morning jacket tomorrow!
they're playing indoors and there may still be a few tix for the full show taping...
after not going to a kimmel taping all year, i've been to 3 in the past month or so (jane's, primus, megadeth) and now mmj. sweet

I thought the outdoor shows were done till summer, but they have steel panther coming up outdoors Jan 30.
You know, but that's valid because if we are all gonna die anyway shouldn't we be enjoying ourselves now? You know, I'd like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor insignificant preamble to something else.
It's that tad bit of Crazy that keeps me Sane...
You either put Steel Panther outdoors, or they will blow the roof off of whatever indoor venue they are playing. It ain't worth the risk to JKL.
For your health
I just saw Steel Panther a few days ago and they killed it. The only question I would have is how the hell are they going to play on TV? Every second word out of their mouthes is "Shit, fuck, bitch, slut".
Gotye Feb 1st
just scored Coldplay tix..get em while you can
I got reserved. Might cancel them later as I don't really like Coldplay but a friend of mine really loves them so I might suffer through it.
