anyone go to broken bells?? so great especially since it was half the crowd as usual given the lakers game "you guys are either not lakers fans or huge broken bells fans!" they played 5 songs I believe since they said it was the most they'd had at a tv taping. I loved it

The cool thing about that broken bells show was that you didn't have to watch the Jimmy kimmel show rather just wait for sound check to be done, have bald and fat dude direct the audience to make it appear like a large crowd, then it went right on with broken bells. After the show we just walked over to Essex(http://www.essexhollywood.com/) to watch the last quarter of the laker game.

Dammit! Black Keys are on Craig Ferguson next month. I requested tickets but I think it might be sold out already.

If you're attending the taping of the show, then expect to wait in line when you first arrive, then they let you into a waiting area that looks like a Bar. No alcohol is sold though. They then let you into the seating area where the show is recorded. A warm up guy comes out and Jimmy and the band is introduced a couple minutes before taping begins. If there is a musical performer tonight, then depending if it is an outdoor or indoor performance, they move you accordingly during the last commercial break. It sounds alot less fun than it really is. I've been to quite a few tapings and they have all been a blast.

And if younly have tickets for the Mini concert, then you go around back and wait in line till they start letting everyone in. As soon as you get in, its like any other outdoor concert, you try and get the best view possible. You stand outside while the show is being taped. Once the show is over, the bands will normally do a few extra songs. When I saw Motley Crue a few years back, they actually took requests from the Audience after the show was done taping so that was awesome. When it's over, you have alot to choose from since you are right on Hollywood and highland. I'd advise to park across the street at the Hollywood Highland parking structure. I believe the first three hours are like 2 bucks and a buck an hour after that with Validation. I don't think you'll find cheaper parking than that.
You know, but that's valid because if we are all gonna die anyway shouldn't we be enjoying ourselves now? You know, I'd like to quit thinking of the present, like right now, as some minor insignificant preamble to something else.

Not Jimmy Kimmel related, but Craig Ferguson related question

Do performances on Ferguson happen on an outdoor stage like Kimmel? If it doesn't, does it matter if you have tickets for the concert or the studio taping? I really want to go to She & Him, but can't confirm tickets for their performance, but I can for the studio.
Where's Underworld and Mew? Make it happen GV.

I used to intern for Ferguson. Musical acts tape right before the show starts, they are always inside the studio. Ferguson unlike Letterman tapes bands out of sequence due to the small size of his stage. Make sure you get in line very early, Ferguson like many of these shows oversell tickets to make sure they are always sold out.

I saw a horrible musical act yesterday at Kimmel called Runner Runner.

Thankfully, that was evened out by getting to see Mr. Don Draper in the flesh.

This is some helpful info since suffacated and I have confirmed tickets to see Juliet Lewis and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH on Kimmel August 17th@ 6pm
Suffacated has been frerinds with the lead singer since he fronted Motograter, and when he began for 5FDP, we just followed suit. They've been climbing higher and higher in the metal world, so this is pretty cool. Can't wait!

Five Finger Death Punch (often shortened to 5FDP or FFDP) is an American Heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2005. The band was named "Five Finger Death Punch" as a nod to classic Kung-Fu Cinema.[4] The band originally consisted of Motograter and Ghost Machine vocalist Ivan Moody, U.P.O. guitarist Zoltan Bathory, guitarist Caleb Bingham, Anubis Rising and Deadsett bassist Matt Snell, and W.A.S.P. drummer Jeremy Spencer. In 2006, Bingham was replaced by W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts who was replaced by Alice Cooper guitarist Jason Hook in 2009.

Their debut album, The Way of the Fist was released in July of 2007 and has sold over 420,000 copies. Their second album entitled War Is the Answer, was released in September of 2009. The album sold more than 44,000 copies in its first week of release, and has currently sold over 260,000 copies. They have played many major tours and festivals including Korn's Family Values and Bitch We Have a Problem Tours, they played on the Jägermeister Stage (second stage) at Mayhem Festival in 2008 and played the main stage at Mayhem Festival in 2010, they also played the main stage at the United Kingdom Download Festival in 2009 and 2010.

got Phoenix tickets xp I've never gone to one of these before. The ticket says that they give out more tickets than the venue can hold (to ensure a packed audience)... Should I get there even earlier than the 45 minutes in advance that they suggest, to make sure we get in? And does anyone know what time these usually end?
