    Default Heartbeats by the Knife

Ok, so I am very late to the game when it comes to these guys but oh my god...this song is so fucking beautiful and powerful. I cannot stop listening to it.
I just got around to listening to their live album and I can't believe how expressive this shit is. I heard the Jose Gonzales cover before I heard the original version and this song is just begging to be cover by other artist as well. Radiohead, Bjork etc. I am now more jealous that Bmack has seen them live then ever.

EDIT: I think I am actually getting choked up by this shit...amazing.

    Very powerful song...

    One night to be confused
One night to speed up truth
    We had a promise made
    Four hands and then away
    Both under influence
    We had divine sense
    To know what to say
    Mind is a razorblade

To call for hands of above, to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, no

    One night of magic rush
    The start: a simple touch
One night to push and scream
    And then relief
    Ten days of perfect tunes
    The colours red and blue
    We had a promise made
    We were in love

To call for hands of above, to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, no

To call for hands of above, to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, oh

    And you
You knew the hand of a devil
    And you
Kept us awake with wolves teeth
Sharing different heartbeats in one night

To call for hands of above, to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, no

To call for hands of above, to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, oh

I still consider The Knife the best visual show I've ever seen in my life. The best.

When I saw this thread I said to myself, "Did I start this thread last night and completely forget about it?" I was listening to this song late last night. Weird

Yes. "You Take My Breath Away" does it for me as well. I would pretty much lose my shit if the Knife played Coachella.

GV could book Green Day, No Doubt and Tiesto and I would still go if The Knife was there.

Totally agree. It was my show of the year when that tour came around.

They were on the west coast in November of 2006. People were scalping the $20 for like $400 at the show I went to.

Um, I just thought the thread should have the original song, if it has the Gonzales version.

    Four Tet
    Coachella 4/20-4/22
