Maybe that TV thing didn't happen at all. Maybe some cheerleader cold cocked him, reported him and he was forced to retire! Hmmm. We can only speculate until he comes clean.

I think we hear that music in very different contexts, Corinna.

Summer 1981: I was at a party in Osage City, Missouri. I'd brought a couple of my college buddies with me. There was a keg of bad beer and I drank plenty. College buddy Tracy was hooking up with my high school best friend Anne; college buddy Jay (who always had a way with these things) had women all over him, and I had some woman named Georgia (or something, it began with a G I know) hitting on me. Hi Infidelity was the soundtrack for the night; as much as I tried to get them to play something cool (i.e., punk) the country people stuck to that one. and despite G hitting on me I wound up too drunk and puking out in the field. Then me and Tracy and Anne and Jay put our lives on the line and drove back to my house which was like 30 miles of country road away. So yeah. that album makes me puke.

That made me chuckle .. It's kind of like, if I am here years from now, I might post: I had friends that had kids at Columbine and we went there from work which was only a few miles away to help, I live 3 blocks from where Holmes lived, I had a small hit on the worst floods ever in Colorado. I went to maybe 20 major festivals. I saw ... That was only in the last few years. I told only a small part of things that have happened in my life. I'm sure you guys will have similar stories as you get older.,. I didn't take (many) pisc's. I can't prove it. In the end, it really doesn't matter eh cr****

But there were longhairs all over the south beginning in the late 60s. You're just a self-aggrandizing buffoon who thinks four decades of terrible decisions has earned some kind of cultural capital. Eesh. Why am I even bothering with this?

So, there were long-haired hippies, pigfuckers, and then, Tom, all dressed smart in his rust colored polyester slacks and matching sport coat. with hair that caressed the top of his dickie.

That first Speedwagon record is surprisingly solid.

Pretty sure I've made you "shudder" with disgust a few times, and there were a couple of your effeminate little, "eesh's," that I thought were so adorably childish, but over the years, my favorite response was from the year I was your Secret Santa.... there wasn't any response! Nada. No," Thank You." No" Gee, what a lovely gift, how thoughtful of you to find me one of those stash cans that look like a container for household cleaning products! I can't thank you enough!" Nothing....You're just as rude and delusional about your sense of self-entitlement now, as you were back when your arrogance could only muster up 2 syllable insults. Save the fucking educated nonsense for your nerd enemies, I'll accept a simple" FUCK OFF, BEVIE!!!", and, nothing less from you, you little prick...

I get the feeling that most of the thankful and appreciate people on this message board are the ones who take the most shit from "the group." Consideration comes in all forms. Sometimes it's a simple "thank you," or a casual "stfu," but if you're going to play the fucking game, at least smile and nod when it's your turn. I don't care who you are, or who you think you are. I thank everyone who performs a service for me, even if TomAZ happens to be poking his massive head over my shoulder.

Couldn't you have just admitted to being a boring sack of shit instead of typing all of that out?

We get it. You're too stupid to write the book you've always wanted to write that no one would give half a watery shit to read anyway. Join the club.
