Can anyone recommend a good hosting website? I'm looking to set up an official site for my band/music.
We're here to play some Mississippi Delta Blues. We're in a horrible depression, and I gotta admit - we're starting to like it.

on the one hand, it's annoying to have your full name published on the internet without your permission, but on the other hand, you don't get to skip out on your bill at restaurants and not expect repercussions. the added gratuity is standard practice for large parties and usually clearly published.

so should we feel bad that America's most famous sniper has been killed (by a fellow seal and a fucking gun of course). He killed something like 140 people. Hummm. Glad I don't have to judge him now. cr****

If he was in active duty and overseas no we shouldn't. But because he was retired and at a gun range (ironic I admit) and murdered yeah I think a little sadness should be felt. Not to mention he did a lot of charity work and started a foundation to help soldiers deal with PTSD.

Yea I was in during Nam and I guess I would have killed the enemy if I had to (never even came close, what in Nashville lolz) but to have specifically a job to kill people, yikes. Who decides who are the really bad guys? Yea he seemed like an ok dude. "How was your day honey? Fine I killed that bad guy before noon so they let us off early." cr****

haha. I'm sure you get used to after the first couple kills. Or maybe you don't and he still struggled with each one but ultimately just realized t was his job. As for who decides who is the ad guy or not I think you would have a better understanding of that then I do, being in Nam and all, well at least the service part of it.

So do you consider yourself a veteran then and do you get access to the VA hospital? Just out of curiosity.

Yea vet for sure. I joined during the war because I thought I could fight it from the inside. Oh well. Never needed the VA. Always had a job and all of that. I guess they will bury me so it's all good haha. Hate to pay for something like that. It's like the old saying throwing good money after bad. Fuck, if I'm dead, I don't care what they do with me. Put the money to good use. Geez off on a tangent eh.....cr****

Yeah I agree it's like OK someone just died, so now we gotta pay thousands of dollars to bury someone? My dad has always said once I'm dead feed me to the sharks for all I care.

So if I'm reading it right you joined voluntarily and not drafted into service? Sorry for the questions last one I swear.

After you're dead, maybe your relatives/friends would want to have something to remember you by, like a grave to visit. It's not for you; it's for them.

Yea I was a radical in high school and in Japan at the time. I joined there just to get out of the country (my dad was Army), went to the Bay for the summer, and off to AF. I was a member of the SDS and really did think I could be part of the solution. Work in the establishment, change from the inside. Well hundreds of trips, a few disappointments, got married, life moved on. It was just like a job though. In four years, I worked one Saturday and never a Sunday. 8-5, at a desk. Go home, major party (it was the 60's), and back to work the next morn. Really normal when you get down to it. I didn't regret it although I think I would have graduated college and not just flew thru life. cr****

Well I mean even if you are cremated or cut up into little pieces and fed to pigs there is still usually a memorial or something that friends and family can still visit right? Both of my grandparents were cremated and they have a plaque next to each other on a wall in a cemetery.

I want them to remember what "was" not a place in the ground that makes you sad most of the time. If I want to remember my mom, I don't run to the cemetery, I look at what was, and just think of her. Just me maybe....cr****

I just recently watched the movie Snatch, it's how they say to get rid of a murdered body in it.

Hey zzz, maybe the reason I seem a bit off haha, this is the first time in a couple of years no one cept me lives in my house.
