Ron, i am pretty sure your overloading with 20,000mg of Vitamin C every day from eating a billion limes might be helping you. your teeth will fall out and you'll burn your esophageal lining and probably give yourself an ulcer, but no more flu for you.

I was going to argue that it is no different , eating a lime then eating an orange and no one would even think about that. I had to look it up ......but......nye resolution (no more limes just for limes sake)....cr****

It's pretty impossible to overdose on vitamin C since it's water soluble and you piss all the excess out. If you DO somehow manage to accumulate huge amounts you can get indigestion and diarrhea but it's pretty uncommon and I think the amounts required for that are ridiculous and sustained over a long period of time. If you've got a handful of genetic disorders it can jack up your shit but those are very specific cases.

Ron, you do realize that the LOWER the pH the more acidic something is? That means lemons are the most acidic, then limes, then grapefruit, then tangerines. And since pH is a log scale lemons and limes are quite a bit more acidic than grapefruits and tangerines.

I was implying that the large amounts of vitamin C would be helping his immune system, not "overdosing." The side effects I was referring to were hypothetical side effects of all of the citric acid he is consuming.
