Drunk chick hopped into the driver seat of my friend's ambulance while he and his partner were tending to a patient at scene. Partner saw this, ran across the yard and yanked her out. She told the cop that she wasn't going to go anywhere with it. The cop responded by saying, "Well, you are going somewhere now" and handcuffed her. She's now facing a felony charge.

To those of you who have gotten a passport, does it require you knowing your ex wive's or husband's information? I just got a bizarre call from my ex husband because he needed my ssn, birthday and the date of our wedding for his passport, I gave it out willingly but then I started to question why I would even need to be named on his passport.

Fortunately, I've never been married, but that doesn't seem right at all. My paranoid self wants to say he's taking out a loan with your name on it.

Yes, passport apps require the name/info of your current or most recent spouse. I'm assuming he never remarried, so he would need your info (including marriage/divorce dates). It's not fishy and you're all good.

I just pulled up the app for a passport, and it doesn't ask for the SSN.

He could also be trying to pull up marriage license records as a proof of identification if he has misplaced his social security card, older passport, or any alternate proof of citizenship.

...Maybe? I don't know if that's how it works.

I am not going to worry about it at this point, I think the SSN is weird, but he probably has better credit than I do so it's not like he is going to get one over on me.

I get this all the time too; the rationale is I am the one who moved, so therefore I have the responsibility to go visit them all the time and that they only come up here on my Birthday (they live in San Diego, by the way, which pisses me off even more).
