It's been 3 weeks since my Dr Pepper Pepper Pack should have arrived and I still don't have it. I sent an email, but I feel bad because I didn't address it to "Dr."

I am not still at work. My work would probably still run at the same period of the solar day; we'd just use different numbers to refer to those times.

I don't like time zones because they make it a pain to figure out when stuff is going on in other parts of the world. And because they're inconsistant and lazy and jagged and crazy. Anyone who actually needed to use solar time should be using real solar time anyway not their time zone's time. GPS units are small now; they could give an exact local time for whoever the fuck needs that. Which is probably near nobody.

Daylight Saving Time bugs me because it doesn't actually change anything other than our naming conventions.

I hate moving. I like living quasi alone in a big house.

But I will like living closer to work and shows and family and whatnot. And I've gotten rid of a decent amount of junk where I just said "that's not worth transporting to a new place."

Also, so yeah, I have a new address so PM me to update if you wish to send holiday cards or random junk or secret santa gifts or money for the records I sent you last summer. Though you may realize that I've written off the last two, buds.

I still haven't looked through my old boxes with my music memorabilia. I think I owe you a Morrissey postcard. I think I owe Andrew a Primal Scream sticker. Argh.

I don't think I've ever gone out on St Patrick's Day. We had a party last year, and that was about the craziest thing I've done for St Patrick's Day.

Also of note to the Default thread, I have Spring Break week off (the week leading up to 3-17), and I don't really have any plans to do anything or go anywhere. I guess I won't be paying for daycare because I'll be home (my daughter is off school that week), but that's about it.

Did kids really care about the world in the 60's, or were they just following a fad?

btw, Ron, I didn't mean that as a swipe at you. Just being a little cynical. I didn't really pay close attention to the news and politics until I had kids. I've always voted, but I have yet to be jailed for standing up for what I believe in.

You live in Indio? And are offering your backyard for camping along with current events/political debate?

Are you listed on couchsurfing? I apologize for not knowing who you are, but it's kinda hard to distinguish who is for real and who isn't on here.
