Journalism. I'm looking to start at community college (I know, it's not even a college, haha.), and then transfer to university.

Are you drawn to journalism by some specific field of interest(technology, economics, etc.) on which you must have your opinions heard or do you feel you need time to figure out what it is you would like to write about or do you just only enjoy writing and the world and would like to write about a diverse range of issues?

I worked in student lending for a bit. Government based loans do not require credit checks. Private based loans do require credit checks. Private based loans are not a good idea, mainly because they don't carry the benefits that Federal ones do. Do yourself a favor and stick with federal based loans, student work/study programs, and apply for every scholarship you qualify for.

I would like to someday work for any profession that involves writing about music. Whether it be editor, reviewer, etc. I just figured journalism would be the right direction.
