Not a REM fan. But I have seen them headline festivals a few times and they do bring it for the masses and I enjoyed it. I think they deserve to headline a Coachella, so make it sooner rather than later.

R.E.M. would be a totally legit headliner at Coachella worthy of the Saturday closing spot.

Really? I saw them at Sasquatch 08 and was extremely impressed. My fiancee, who actually didn't like REM at all at the tim and was only there because I wanted to see them, loved the performance.

Paul made a big mistake when he had the chance to book REM (instead of Jack Johnson) in 2009.

Let's hope REM is available for 2011. Their new album (post-Accelerate and Live at the Olympia Theatre) is due out the first quarter of 2011, so the timing would be perfect.
