My girlfriend and I are just home after a Jimmy Fallon taping, and after the regular show they sprung a pre-taping of Friday night's musical guest: Eminem. He performed "Won't Back Down" with the Roots, and it sounded pretty fantastic. I've never really been a huge Eminem fan, but he really knocked me out live. I may need to reconsider how I feel about him now.

only time i saw him was on warped tour when he was first blowing up, 'twas good times. was funny watching my sis go to meet him after his set backstage, she got a kiss and everything, just glad she didn't get on the bus. def. didn't realize just how big he was going to get at that point.

The Slim Shady LP stands up remarkably well over time. He let his clownish tendencies take over and manifest in those horrible skits later on(much like how Kanye torpedoed the second half of Late Registration).
